Booking Materials Review

Your Materials Open Doors — or Close Them.

Before an event organizer ever hears you speak, they read your one-sheet, watch your reel, and scan your bio. CSCTN helps members develop and refine the booking materials that make a lasting first impression.

Why Your Booking Materials Matter

Event organizers receive dozens — sometimes hundreds — of speaker submissions for a single event. Your booking materials are your first audition. A polished, professional package signals that you take your calling seriously and that you are ready for the platform.

  • Event organizers decide within 60 seconds whether to keep reading your materials or move on.
  • A professional media kit can increase your booking rate by positioning you as an established authority.
  • Inconsistent or outdated materials — mismatched photos, old bios, broken links — signal unpreparedness.
  • Your speaker reel is the single most important piece of your booking package. Most speakers don't have one.

What Your Booking Package Should Include

Speaker One-Sheet

Required

A single-page PDF that captures your photo, bio, speaking topics, testimonials, and contact information. The standard document event organizers expect.

Speaker Reel

Required

A 2–4 minute highlight video showing you on stage, connecting with an audience, and delivering your message with impact. Non-negotiable for serious bookings.

Professional Bio

Required

A 150-word and 300-word version of your bio, written in third person, that communicates your credentials, calling, and the transformation you deliver.

Professional Headshot

Required

A high-resolution, professionally lit headshot on a clean background. Event organizers use this in programs, websites, and promotional materials.

Testimonials & Endorsements

3–5 strong testimonials from event organizers, pastors, or clients who can speak to the impact of your work. Social proof is a booking accelerator.

Topic Descriptions

1–2 paragraph descriptions of each of your signature topics, written to help event organizers understand the outcome their audience will experience.

Past Engagements List

A curated list of notable past speaking engagements, conferences, churches, or organizations you have served. Builds credibility at a glance.

Published Works & Media

Books, courses, podcasts, articles, and media appearances that demonstrate your expertise and expand your reach beyond the stage.
